tablet: Google Pixel tablet with charging dock leaked on Facebook: What to expect

Google is expected to launch its first ever tablet — the Pixel tablet – in 2023. The tech giant initially teased the upcoming device at the 2022 I/O conference and later shared some official renders that showed the tablet in white color. The latest versions of the Pixels tablet was recently leaked on Facebook Marketplace. Unlike the previous versions, Google has not shared any official specifications of the device. However, the recent leak on Facebook offered a bit more insight into Google’s upcoming tablet.
The Facebook renders also show that the Pixel tablet will come with a charging dock that will give it a Nest-like look when docked. The pre-release prototype of the Google Pixel tablet was for sale on Facebook Marketplace. This is not the first time that a Google product has been listed on Facebook Marketplace well before its launch. Google is yet to declare the device’s official specifications and release date. More details are expected to emerge in the coming days.
Google Pixel Tablet: Expected specs
According to a report by 9to5Google, the Facebook Marketplace versions were spotted by a Twitter user named ShrimpApplePro. The Facebook leak shows the Google Pixel tablet in black color. The fronts look slimmer in this color variant compared to the white color version that Google has officially shared. However, the supporting charging bench was shown in white in the Facebook post. The charging stand has a mesh-like design on the back which is likely to improve the speaker output.
Previous rumors suggest that the Pixel tablet could have a 10.95-inch display and is expected to support Wi-Fi 6. The device is also likely to feature the Tensor G2 chipset that also powers the latest Google Pixel 7 series.

One of the leaked photos also shows the home screen of the device that gives a peak at the tablet-optimized version of the Pixel Launcher and the At a Glance widget. Meanwhile, another photo claims that the tablet will offer up to 256GB of storage, which is also consistent with previous rumors.
The charging-cum-speaker dock is expected to use a barrel connector. The Pixel dock is also rumored to ship with a 30W power adapter that Google bundled with the Nest Hub Max. However, the Facebook Marketplace listing did not show the first-party stylus that Google is believed to introduce with the upcoming tablet. The Pixel stylus is likely to be based on the USI 2.0 technology.
