US blacklists 6 Pakistan companies over ‘nuclear tech’ threat: Names and more

The Biden administration recently added 10 companies in Pakistan and the UAE that it says pose unacceptable risks of using or diverting items for Pakistan’s unsecured nuclear activities or are involved in Pakistan’s “nuclear and missile proliferation-related activities.” Suppliers of US goods must seek a special license before shipping to companies added to the list. The companies have been placed on the US export control list by the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) under the US Department of Commerce which restricts access for these companies to commodities, software and technologies. The US statement said many of these companies were added to the list as they were “found to be supplying or attempting to supply items … to Pakistan’s unsecured nuclear activities and ballistic missile programme”. Specifically, these companies supplied and/or attempted to supply items subject to export controls to Pakistan’s missile program. Here are the names.
