Christmas is a time for family and celebrating with loved ones. For children, it is a time to get presents from Santa and enjoy good food. Now, ahead of the 2022 Christmas holiday, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has decided to get into the Christmas spirit. Recently, he shared some photos from his own childhood, where he is seen celebrating with his sister Kelley. Dale Jr seems to have many happy memories of Christmas from his childhood.

The first photo is from the year 1977, in which he is seen playing with his sister Kelley. At the time, he received a toy train from Santa Claus. Four years later, he got some arguably “cooler” gifts. To be precise, he managed to get his hands on a stunt ramp, an electric football kit and the 1980 championship trophy. That 1980 trophy was the first NASCAR Winston Cup trophy—the first of seven won by Dale Sr.

What’s next for Dale Earnhardt Jr?

Furthermore, the former Daytona 500 winner will eagerly await the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series season. That’s because it will be a chance for his team JR Motorsports to chase another title. The team boasts a fairly strong line-up for the upcoming campaign.

The lineup consists of Sam Mayer, Justin Allgaier, Josh Berry and Brandon Jones. Of the quartet, Jones is the newcomer, having spent the past five years with Joe Gibbs Racing. JGR has come under a lot of fire lately due to the fact that they have let go of a lot of managers lately. This year was no exception, with two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch leaving for Richard Childress Racing, and Jones for JR Motorsports.
