Orange Belgium S A : substantially upgrades all its mobile data volumes and pursues its segmented strategy to enrich its Orange offers and remain ultracompetitive with hey!

As a next generation operator, Orange Belgium promises to follow and anticipate its customer needs. Therefore, it will minimally double the data limit of all its Go mobile subscriptions, with data volumes up to 300GB. All residential customers will benefit from this extra data abundance. The continuous improvement of Orange Belgium’s offers against the European standards in terms of data abundance will lead to the Orange brand becoming more premium and increasingly attractive to families. Mobile customers who therefore add fixed internet and/or TV (thus becoming converging) or add extra mobile subscriptions (thus becoming multi-card), enjoy an extra discount of up to 14€ per subscription.
However, in order to also absorb the impact of rapidly increasing costs linked to the economic context and to continue its (network) investments, Orange Belgium will adjust various prices. The changes will be effective from 15 January 2023.
Orange Belgium is not adjusting the prices of its b-brand hey!, which continues to entice digital-savvy customers.
More for More
As the only Belgian operator that follows a ‘more for more’ logic, Orange Belgium offers its customers an increasingly large range of premium services and content, while at the same time building its multi-gigabit networks. Orange Belgium now switches between other European players by increasing the data limit of each Go tariff plan by extra GBs, with a mobile subscription of 300 GB.
However, the current economic context is characterized by unprecedented levels of inflation. Energy prices, prices of technological equipment, wholesale rates and salary costs are growing rapidly. This affects the cost structure of Orange Belgium, its suppliers and its partners. Therefore, the operator has to adjust various prices to maintain Orange Belgium’s quality of services and level of investment.
But Orange Belgium continues to offer extra privileges to families and strengthen its strategic positioning as a convergent operator. Therefore, it continuously guides its customers to optimize their services and products depending on their actual and future needs. Because if mobile customers add fixed internet and/or TV (thus becoming converging) or add extra mobile subscriptions (thus becoming multicard), they enjoy an extra discount of up to 14€ per subscription (for example with Go Extreme). This results in extra data abundance without a rate change.
In this spirit, the mobile price of the convergent, multicard and hey! customers remain unchanged.
Orange Belgium is committed to accompanying its customers throughout their telco journey to make sure it always answers their needs, now and in the future, with complete peace of mind.
hey! stay seduced data and price sensitive customers
For digital savvy customers, Orange Belgium’s fully digital brand hey! is an ultra-competitive offer. Shark! is wooing those customers looking for simple, sharply priced mobile subscriptions with plenty of data. Thanks to its loyalty program, this brand indeed offers a steady increase of the data volume to its customers – +25% every 3 months to 100% after a year – which means that a customer who opts for its most abundant offer, after one year only pay 25 euros for unlimited calls, SMS and 80 GB per month.
The prices of hey! offers do not change. More information on heytelecom.be.
