In Australia, Tech Mahindra capitalizes on digital and data functionality to provide a comprehensive technology package and enhance customer experience. The competence of Tech Mahindra, combined with Swimming Australia’s drive to be data-driven, will provide coaches and athletes with sports knowledge and insight ahead of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. Sports fans will be able to use the latest methods and advanced platform services to improve their game and provide an engaging fan experience.

As part of this joint effort, Tech Mahindra and Swimming Australia will remain focused on the user experience while building the infrastructure to expand the site’s advanced technology footprint. Swimming Australia’s team will benefit from Tech Mahindra’s next-generation digital engagement platform, which will enable them to deliver hyper-personalised data-driven fan experiences by leveraging the latest innovations such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR), among others.

Swimming Australia CEO Eugénie Buckley said, “Our Australian Dolphins have long been a leader and the envy of our peers in international swimming in terms of the technology used to power the performance of our athletes and coaches on the world stage and now, through the expertise of Tech Mahindra as global technology pioneers, we can continue to drive that culture of innovation across the breadth of our business.

“As Australia’s most popular Olympic and Paralympic sport, and with 1 in 5 Australians participating in some form of swimming activity across the country, we currently have millions of touchpoints with the community and in partnership with Tech Mahindra we will continue to develop and to improve our digital experience to ensure it is both seamless and engaging for fans and attendees. Additionally, we are excited to see what lens Tech Mahindra can bring to our high performance environment to maintain our competitive edge and ensure our coaches and athletes are served with the latest data they need in their ongoing preparations for Paris.

“We embrace our role as technology leaders in sports and believe this partnership with Tech Mahindra will not only confirm that position, but allow us to work together to set a new benchmark for what is possible in this space.”
